A song for you. (to the tune of “My Favorite Things”)

Grain Sacks,

grain sack memo board

and Doorplates,

door plate chandelier

and Doorknobs,

door knob corkstop

and Spoons.

spoon chandelier

Vintage Plates,

vintage plates dessert stand

and Teacups,

I’m likely to swoon.

They first were called Knobstoppers and now they’re called Cake. Deciding which to buy is the hardest decision to make.

Good morning. I again wanted to say how much I enjoy your little daily blurbs on fantastic “finds”. It’s armchair super-junk trawling for me, since I don’t do junk shop garage and flea markets much anymore. There was a time when I could not pass one up, but having had to finally pare down from a large house to a 1-bedroom NY apartment – well, you know the limitations! Stil, I love vicariously looking at the things and ideas from your blog, and have still held onto many of my own more special finds in the paring down process. I might have sold a bed or two but not that old deck-chair from the Queen Mary, the tin pedaling horse or old ice-tongs or my French zinc milk-bottle carrier yet!
Have a super day and do keep the lovelies coming!

Ramona! You simply must send in some of your treasures to post in a Sentimental Salvage!

I can only imagine how difficult it would be to downsize to a NY one bedroom with years and years of finds. I’m so glad you enjoy SG, thanks again for reading!
